This week’s cheese board.
The Owl Shop has partnered with Caseus to bring our customers a rotating selection of artisanal cheeses. This week’s cheese board features:
- Chevrot, a goat’s milk cheese from the Loire Valley region of France. Light and grassy with a ridged rind, it pairs especially well with our newest white wines, the Valle Escondido Gouguenheim Torrontes and the Cupcake Riesling.
- Adrahan, a semi-soft cow’s milk cheese from Ireland. Adrahan has a pungent aroma, a complex delicate flavor, and a washed rind.
- Dunbarton Blue, a hard cow’s milk cheese from Wisconsin. The Dunbarton Blue is a cheddared blue cured in the open air. It’s new to Caseus and even newer to the Owl.
As always, our cheese board is served with fresh Chabaso bakery ciabatta and fig jam.
