The Owl Shop recently commissioned its own custom barrel of Woodford Reserve. After tasting (and tasting, and tasting) eight different batches of barrel-proof Woodford Reserve, we’ve narrowed it down to a blend of two. The Owl Shop blend has a floral nose, with a zesty citrus body and a slow rye burn at the finish. It’s versatile; delicious on its own but perfect for bourbon based cocktails.
The barrel will arrive from Kentucky in time for our Kentucky Derby day event. On May 1st, we’ll welcome our new barrel in style — so join us for prizes, premium bourbon, some lovely fillies, and the Kentucky Derby, too!
