Developed by hobos, perfected through science, Brooklyn street jazz sensations Baby Soda have performed everywhere from the avant-garde Knitting Factory to much-lionized Plaza Hotel. Their music incorporates New Orleans brass, jug music, Southern Gospel, and hot jazz. They don’t recreate the past, they bring it into the present — and have a great time doing it. Tonight from 9 pm to 12 midnight Baby Soda will be playing a free set at the Owl Shop. There’s no better way to appreciate the music of Baby Soda than with a classic cocktail and a fine cigar.
